FA CUP Update; Wembley, Shall We BEGIN!?
When it comes to history, there are not many football competitions in the world with more of it than the English FA cup.
In th year 1990, Manchester United defeated Crystal Palace in the final clash of that season, which was the first time the crystal palace side reached the final. That year, the game ended 3-3. However, the existing rules then demanded a replay which saw United victorious by a lone goal and fetched Sir Alex ferguson his first trophy as a manager for the red-devils.
By 5:30 pm this evening, Manchester United Will again play against Crystal palace , the final game of the FA cup 2015/2016 season at Wembley stadium.
The red devils will look to end their quest for their first major trophy since retirement of Sir Alex ferguson, While Crystal Palace are out to lift the FA cup trophy for the first time .
Manchester United manager Louis van gaal could be given his marching orders from old Trafford if he fails to secure victory against the eagles this evening. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace manager, Alan Pardew who was a palace midfielder in 1990 said "we are not going to Wembley to be runners up". It remains remains to see who will triumph in this meeting of old rivals.
